41 aspiring product designers have dealt with different folding techniques and design possibilities of folded structures. At the beginning, elementary principles of folding techniques were focused, as well as their possibilities in art and design, which were quickly replaced by more complex structures that play a role in areas such as architecture and industry. Divided into two teams - art and design- as well as industry and production techniques, the participants quickly worked on their own designs and structures.
The aim of the workshop was the design of a special object, a spectacular architecture, or an idiosyncratic transformable form, which shapes the appearance and structure of a city. Material properties and processing possibilities of the material papers were tested and explored from different perspectives.
