Online workshop "PAPERFOLDING-BASICS" for the general assembly 2021 with Kristina Wißling, designer and expert for origami and folding techniques.
Kristina Wißling has been working with different folding techniques and the construction of crease pattern for over 10 years. Her focus is on the techniques of origami engineering, whose origins come from the ancient traditional Japanese art form.
In the workshop you will learn to see paper as a serious ally of your work, and to create impressive folding structures without being an expert in paper art. Kristina will teach you how to use basic folding techniques, a system of solid and dashed lines in the form of mountain and valley folds, to develop two- and three-dimensional objects.
