Kristina Wißling was invited to hold a presentation "Origami for the Industry" at the Innovation Forum "Material Matters" in Bremen. Together with experts covering various topics, the Innovation Forum "Material Matters" presented unique, inspiring and innovative examples of material applications from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Scotland to stimulate new ideas for cooperation, products and services.
After the exciting short presentations held by the speakers, who gave insights into their respective fields of expertise such as materials research and application or origami engineering, the visitors had the opportunity to delve deeper into the topic and ask questions in the subsequent panel discussion.
The Innovation Forum and the panel discussion "Material Matters" was moderated by Prof. Steven Ney, Jacobs University, Bremen.
After the event, there was the opportunity to participate in short workshops and to get in direct contact with the experts.
The English language innovation forum was initiated by the EU project CCC reloaded: CRELAB. The forum was targeted to interested participants from the aerospace industry, the maritime industry, logistics, wind energy, from science and research institutions as well as designers from various disciplines.
