Studio Kristina Wißling was part of the Christmas pop up event "The Spirit of Tsuru"/ A wish for happiness for the Dutch cosmetics manufacturer RITUALS in the locations Dortmund and Aachen/Germany. RITUALS customers learned how to use the Japanese folding technique to create origami Christmas decorations in the shape of a tsuru (a traditional crane) using luxurious papers that Rituals produced especially for this event. This once off opportunity allowed customers to write down a wish for their loved ones on the origami paper when buying products, which was then folded into an origami object. A very personal gift that could be unfolded at Christmas to make the wish come true.
