Origami Giclee Prints
2016 Kristina Wißling created her first Origami Fine Art Prints for her private usage. Now she created her first Limited Edition of Giclee Fine Art Prints - featuring her Origami X Geometry Series. The Giclee Fine Art Prints are available as Limited Editions in two different sizes and as a Mini Print Edition. Printed with archival ink on Photo Rag, 308 gsm and Photo Rag Baryta 315 gsm the prints ensure a display life of a minimum 100 years. Each print will be numbered, hand signed, and will include a certificate of authenticity.
Art Objects
Kristina Wißling created a new collection of framed origami artworks. The "Origami X Geometry" is a series of unique, limited edition origami artworks by Kristina Wißling, handcrafted using Acid free papers and PVA Glue. The "Origami X Geometry" series was inspired by geometric formations and spirals and constructed by using origami software and computer-controlled scoring techniques. Each Artwork will be numbered, hand signed and will include a certificate of authenticity. More information about the designs are coming soon.
Collectibles
The collectibles are a growing collection of small size artworks, created by Kristina Wißling. A collection of handmade, one-of-a-kind, affordable artworks. The compact measurements challenge Kristina to think and work differently. These artworks are often in new directions and materials/ concepts for Kristina. New experiments, new horizons, and territories.
The artworks, made exclusively and in limited editions are soon available.
Art lovers with a smaller budget can start their own collection.

THE DESIGNER
Kristina Wißling works within the increasingly nebulous space between art and engineering. As a origami engineer and designer, Wißling´s work is rooted in exhibition design, print media, art and commercial design, though she frequently finds herself in collaborating with a cadre of scientists and researchers who are just now recognizing the practical connections between paper folding and folding in industrial applications.
As an graduate of FH Dortmund, Wißling divides her time between giving talks and workshops on the traditional artform origami in art and design and their applications in industry to different target groups ranging from students at art colleges to aerospace and automotive companies, and creating some of the most inspiring paper art around.
Wißling began creating monumental paper art in 2008. Folding a Leopard III tank with Frank Boelter - a project funded by the German Federal Cultural Foundation. A dozen German Army soldiers took on the task of creating the Leopard III from just two pieces of paper in 20*20 or 20*10 meter format. Her second monumental origami with artist Frank Boelter - a Large Format Paper Racing Car on a scale of 1:1 was exhibited at the Kunsthalle Mainz.
Of her work, she writes: "In my studio I am a collaborator, explorer and inventor. I begin with a system of folding and at a particular moment the material takes over."

The "Origami X Geometry" series was inspired by geometric formations and spirals and constructed by using origami software and computer- controlled scoring techniques. The designs as art objects are soon available to buy from our Onlineshop. The Giclee Fine Art Prints are available in two different sizes and as a Mini Print Edition.
